Why a Couples Community Circle?

Many couples share the same experience — feeling like their relationship exists in isolation. You may have friends, family, or coworkers, but very few spaces where you can talk openly about what it’s actually like to be in a long-term relationship.

Couples often tell me:

  • “We feel like we’re the only ones struggling.”

  • “We wish we had other couples to talk to.”

  • “We want support, but not necessarily full therapy every week.”

  • “We want to grow together, not just fix problems.”

  • “We want the space and time to do something for our relationship.”

The Couples Community Connection Circle is a weekly online gathering where couples can connect, reflect, and learn in a supportive environment with other couples who are navigating similar challenges.

This is not about being perfect — it’s about being real, together.

What Happens in the Weekly Couples Circle

Topics may include:

  • Communication and conflict patterns

  • Emotional distance or disconnection

  • Stress, parenting, or life transitions

  • Intimacy and closeness

  • Trust, resentment, or repair

  • Balancing individuality and partnership

  • How to stay connected during hard seasons

Sessions may include:

  • A short guided introduction or topic

  • Group discussion and sharing

  • Optional participation (no pressure to speak)

  • Reflection prompts or questions

  • Supportive, respectful conversation

Come as you are:

Each session is guided and facilitated, with space for both reflection and discussion. Some weeks may focus on a theme, while others allow more open sharing depending on what participants bring.

You are welcome to come as you are — whether things are going well or feeling difficult.

A Space for Couples to Feel Less Alone

This group is open to couples anywhere in Victoria, Vancouver Island, Gulf Islands, anywhere in British Columbia, or anywhere in the world and is held online to make it accessible and flexible.

The circle is:

  • Weekly and drop-in (no long-term commitment required)

  • Open to couples at any stage of their relationship

  • A supportive space, not a replacement for therapy

  • Facilitated by a registered counsellor

  • Focused on connection, learning, and shared experience

Some couples attend regularly, others come occasionally — both are welcome.

Sometimes just hearing that other couples struggle too can bring relief, perspective, and hope.
